Shout out to local, community owned radio stations in general and WMNF Tampa 88.5 in particular.
Driving home from getting groceries, in a small red rural town in a large red state, they just played some Jesse Welles and the new Springsteen. The radio airwaves actually beat the algorithm on getting those songs into my ears.
So I did the only thing I could. Rolled down the window to the frosty sunset and turned up the volume.
The wind chill on my tears was worth it.
