Hi, this James. We started fostering him about 10 days ago. He’s been at our rescue for four years and hasn’t yet overcome his early life traumas 💔 We’ve been taking things slowly, because when he is scared, he screams in terror. (I have never heard that sound and I surely don’t want to!)

He really needed a nail trim, so we were advised to give him some Gabapentin first. It worked like magic! As you can see, it made him a little sleepy. Instead of inserting a syringe of meds in his mouth, I mixed it in with mashed banana. Yum. 🍌
