Biotech folks: Given all of the mRNA work that went into the COVID vaccines etc, how hard would it be for a pharma company willing to spend a lot of money to make a broad-spectrum vaccine for the common cold?
Even if it only targets the handful of most common viruses and reduces severity rather than providing full immunity, families with young kids will thank you :P
(yes we're getting over another bug from the cute little petri dish... PCR negative for the usual nasties so it's just a garden-variety cold)
