Please do something immediately pull this nation back from the brink of chaos. We are becoming dangerously close to points of no return.
The ICE officer's murder of a woman in Minneapolis was entirely preventable. I have seen the videos taken by bystanders.
I am tired of the cowardice that prevents some members of Congress from reining in the excesses of this Republican Administration. I want you to corner every Republican and press them to explain themselves.
I want to see the Secretary of Homeland Security in a public hearing watching these citizen-filmed videos and explaining in detail how she plans to make sure this never happens again. I want you to draft legislation that governs the behavior of all DHS officers.
I want to see the Secretary of State in a public hearing explaining the detailed plan for Venezuela. President Trump says the US will run it. Secretary Rubio ducks and dodges when asked for specifics.
I am tired of this unchecked Executive Branch making us all unsafe. Please use every power at your disposal to compel Congress to function as an equal leg of our government. We are in dangerous territory. I need you to lead.
