#ScribesAndMakers 6 Have you ever listened to an audiobook where the reader had a good voice, but not the 'right' voice?

I listened to the first Falco novel by Lindsey Davis on audiobook and really enjoyed it. The narrator's voice suited the character. Falco is a former soldier, now an "informer" (i.e. private investigator) for the emperor. He's quite a rough and ready character. But the narrator changed for later books and he sounded too posh. It was a good voice, but not right for the book.
