I already added image support to the nomad page browser lnomad (https://codeberg.org/Lew_Palm/Leviculum/releases/download/nightly/lnomad-nightly-amd64.tar.gz).
It aims to be compatible with NomadNet: lnomad renders links to images as images in the page. Example:
