Detain everyone arriving illegally,
Identify, photograph and document them. Return every person to France. End the perception that arriving illegally guarantees accommodation, financial support and a permanent future in Britain. Make the journey pointless, and you destroy the smugglers’ business model. People are paying thousands because they believe reaching British shores is the finish line. Remove that incentive and why would they keep handing their money to criminal gangs?
