Funny enough, this is actually causing AI fragmentation, as well. Claude and ChatGPT can't access a listing on Amazon if you want to buy something there because Amazon blocks them. You have to use Amazon's AI. They can't access something being sold on eBay to evaluate it because eBay blocks them. So you have to use eBay's AI. If you're a fan of AI, it's starting to look more and more like apps with extra steps.
