I gather there is a little problem with MMA that has turned to rock hard Perspex inside the only pressure relief valve.
Not a good scene and a quite serious challenge for the crews on site. They will know far more than me and will have some experienced process chemists in support. There will be some serious thought going into how to solve this. I also suspect that the attacks on the National Chemical Safety Board over the past year will have helped the response. #chemistry #safety
