Here we really get into the theory behind intentionally inefficient computers and the structure and properties of a global-scale computer; and why Bitcoin fits the bill. By making normal programs interface with the physical-power-based global computer, where the whole world has egalitarian control over it, we can theoretically gain the ability to pass proof-of-real signals over the internet. And cyber security schemes that leverage such proof-of-real signals could be infinitely more secure than those based on purely abstract, legacy signals.
