VERY happy to report that seems to have worked, at least for most of them, one or two are still a bit stiff, we’ll keep worrying away at that, but a big success.

They LOOK amazing, vintage where it looks right, strips and knobs, and shiny new posts and wheels. That’s a result. 👍

Now again it’s a matter of trying to be patient if the repair needs to cure - but does superglue need that, I don’t seem to believe so - so next is stringing it up again, see how the nut is working, I’ve bought some of the supposedly warmer sounding strings, see if that helps.

I hadn’t noticed, but the blue pack D’addario strings I had used do say “extra bright,” all over them. 🙄
