Sometimes I have a good idea but I don’t know it’s good and I ruin the execution of it, this is the case with this wonky nut, but with the bridge pins, I had a good idea but simply didn’t implement it enough. Now I’ve shaped them all smaller and all the same, and it’s almost interference free.

New tuners, new set of strings, action at a reasonable height. I think I’ll play it this way for a while, break in these strings, see if I can figure out how to play it, see how it sounds before I fix the nut.
