Bitcoin will go through a transition period. The existing financial system will adopt by creating traditional financial products such as ETFs and Bitcoin debt instruments. This will happen alongside new financial products being built such as Bitcoin backed loans, ecash, and lightning.
Eventually, the new system will be the dominant. We just need as many people as we can to use the new system. This accelerates the process.
