While not much is known about the Trump family’s cryptocurrency project, the latest statement from World Liberty Financial suggests that it aims to promote the use of US dollar-pegged stablecoins in decentralized finance (DeFi). In a September 4 statement on X, the yet-to-be-launched DeFi platform stated that one of its main goals is to drive the "mass adoption of stablecoins and decentralized finance".
