Oh man. It's not even April yet and the mini PC I was hosting the Windows 2016 domain controller VM on has had it after all these years. I guess the "abnormally long access time" messages in the syslogs should've been a hint... Apparently I didn't even have the SMART monitor installed for CheckMK...
Anyway, the VM seems to be booting OK on iohyve on the NAS, so that's nice? (Thanks backups!)
