I’m not aware of ANY voting machine that’s ever worked that way based on party affiliation of the voter. Instead, in some jurisdictions it’s possible to vote a “straight party ticket”, where you select a party and all votes are cast for that party’s candidate in some or all contests. But that’s always optional, and any voter can vote whichever party they wish if they choose to vote this way.
