If not, maybe the device is locked to a sample rate that PipeWire isn't using? Maybe you could set the PipeWire sample rate to whatever the Roland sample rate is locked to.
Also, maybe try explicitly setting a Wireplumber config where you create a device.profile that you set to "pro-audio". Something like...
