Technically you're not supposed to mine Bitcoin anymore. It was never intended to be mineable forever. In fact it was intended to make it unfeasible to mine, by nature. What we have is what we have, and nothing more. And eventually through loss of keys, there will be no more bitcoins.
Satoshi just didn't anticipate that some assholes would burn the entire planet just to mine that one... last... coin...!
