Yes... much to do.
Am pondering silicone and wondering how it sets/cures. Given it has a very long shelf life in the tube. (Though not forever, I have tried to use years-old unused silicone tubes a few times, set solid.)
If you use this "silicone gasket" type of product which "cures in 24 hours" ... is the silicone that is effectively sealed away, a very thin amount, between the mated interface of two pieces of steel going to actually be set? Or is there likely to be a long time in which there is some in the middle uncured?
