It seems that the PANY/NJ charges you extra if your EZPass isn't in their designated Gspot. They read my tag, but it wasn't in the correct spot, so I got charged $5 more. The MTA bridges had no trouble reading it and charged me the proper rate, and the toll on I-78 in NJ couldn't read it at all, so I'll be getting a larger bill in the mail.
Fuck you NJ! I'll take the longer route and not pay you a penny, and avoid the GWB clusterfuck altogether.
