We've not had any issues with it ourselves, and we've done a lot of pruning with it. We'll be careful though.
Elder is one I have issues with. I can drink elderflower cordial, adn I enjoy that. But pruning or damaging the stems releases an scent that sets off my migraine and makes me feel ill.
