When are people going to open their eyes to all the advertising rubbish? Vote with your spending power.
All the big UK supermarkets try to pricematch to Aldi. So what? On all the things they don't match, not better, match the price of, Aldi are chraper. Noling ago Tesco told us they were the cheapest for a weekly shop but only if you joined their club.
We are told there is a cost of living crisis but no one is holding the greedy, overcharging companies to account. As for Morrisons, they seem to be pricematching Waitrose.
I have recently quality checked like for like essentials and believe me, I really am a fussy sod. If the quality isn't there, I dont use the store again. So far, on what I've tried (Aldi, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury and Teaco) and apart from the fruit and veg issues of not lasting long, Aldi are winning in most trials.
On top of all this, Aldi also cut down on food waste with 'too good to go' with a surprise bag (usually a box) at £3.30 for £10 minimum of food - I have had mixtures here ranging from £10 if salad to almost £40 of all sorts of food including sushi.
