1. Trump Floats 200% Tariffs on Russia and Ukraine
-- President Donald Trump said the United States could impose 200% tariffs on Russia and Ukraine to force an end to the war, Ukrinform reported.
-- U.S. importers sourcing from either country would face sharply higher duties if the proposal became policy; the remarks alone do not change customs obligations.
2. Russia Uses 61 Jet-Powered Shaheds in Overnight Drone Attack
-- Ukraine's military said Russia launched 126 drones overnight, including 61 jet-powered Shaheds, and reported hits at 14 locations despite shooting down or suppressing 101 drones.
-- Jet-powered attack drones can shorten interception windows, making early detection and rapid engagement more important for protecting civilian infrastructure.
