I am old enough to remember life before Rogernomics. I have never felt as good about the world as I did prior to the introduction of neoliberalism and the collapse of the once great egalitarian society we shared in Aotearoa where *everyone was able to have a crack at whatever they wanted.
*Not everyone, indeed the systemic racism, sexism and hatred of minorities is as alive and well today as it was back then but I believe the people of Aotearoa are far more aware and supportive of each other’s rights than we were when I was young despite this government’s brutal attempts to turn back the clock. #NZPol
