I spoke with a friend/client and mentioned that I was starting to regret that the Ex took the weapons with him. This person, without missing a beat, said they could give me one of theirs, describing it in minute detail and explaining why it would be a good model for me.

To extrapolate: there are not only a lot of lefties who have weapons, they know how to use and maintain them, and, importantly, they are willing to share as needed.
