It would help if more climate action advocates would learn more about the fossil fuel industry in the USA.
Particularly, in relation to how little control the federal government has in terms of how much oil, gas & coal that is extracted in the USA.
This old report from back when Democrats were working towards putting together the Paris Accords is a good resource to learn more about the fossil fuel industry in the USA.
