A British Army veteran was reportedly turned away from a Wetherspoon pub in Gosport on Sunday afternoon for the offence of wearing a poppy.
Footage that emerged over the weekend showed a man being refused entry to The Star, on Gosport High Street, by a doorman who told him that the poppy was "political" and that he would not be served while wearing it.
