Finished #Bible #Exodus today. Not recommended—most of the book is just a description of certain religious artifacts, super boring.
But what struck me in Exodus is the stark obvious nature of god as chaotic. At some moments, they are humane and compassionate, and at some moments they are like “thou shalt die, thou too, do not know, do not care!” So inconsistent yet dangerous. Keep no promises either. Meeeeh.
