"content": "After buying the Legacy Collection edition of The Sims, I think I finally figured out why I can't seem to get into the other Sims games.\n\nIt's the aesthetic.\n\nAll of the games' aesthetics suit the times in which they were released. Because of that, the original game has a late 90s/Y2K aesthetic to it that appeals to so many of us in the retro games community.\n\nIt's like a charming final snapshot of American life before the 21st century.\n\n#thesims #Steam #steamsale #90s #y2k #2000s #simulation\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/retrogaidencom/media_attachments/files/116/889/295/179/936/695/original/90f78fed6b70abb9.jpeg\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/retrogaidencom/media_attachments/files/116/889/295/179/720/247/original/89b626c5af679948.jpeg\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/retrogaidencom/media_attachments/files/116/889/295/194/265/410/original/2b5be343648e17ba.jpg\n",
