Probably depends where you are. My brother-in-law is an electrician and he can't keep up with all the work people want him to do. That's been the case for years. He used to beg for help any time we had family gatherings. I actually did help him years ago and it was as much work as I wanted. He has some employees now, but last I heard he still has a full schedule year round. Same for other trades people he knows, like plumbers.
