The cost breakdown is painful for me to read, having taken out a bank loan to buy an SE II when I was still studying for my degree. Amazing demonstration of the computing power we have lying around for just a few dollars today.

I do believe we waste so much computing power today. Not just in data centres, but even my phone has bloated software that turns a lion into a kitten. It doesn't have to be this way. The tech bros don't care though, they just wanna make more dollars because their billions are still not enough.
