I try to avoid the trap of resenting that The Kids won't have the same life I did. I'm sure that's how my parents felt, watching me sit inside on the computer instead of going out & playing soccer or earning merit badges.
Future generations will have their own unique challenges, and will discover their own avenues for creative fulfillment. Finding enough clean drinking water, discovering objectively factual information on the internet, stuff like that. I accept change.
