Final point
Im Australian.
We have compulsory voting so 95% turnout +/- (some ppl DO refuse and get fines, some spoil their ballot papers deliberately)

We also have preferential voting: you number off your parties and candidates. So if your 1st choice is a small party, that vote is registered then reallocated to your #2 choice. Votes are reallocated again until the nation has a clear winner over 50%

We get two sets of data:
First vote count
Final vote "after preferences" ie after reallocation.
Its democratic and fair bc every vote counts.

We also have mail-in and proxy for citizens who can't vote in person and early voting *every day* from 3wks prior and Election Day is always a Saturday when most ppl aren't at work; because voting has to be made easy. And there is almost always food and drink at ballot stations bc it's made fun to vote.

And it's what *we are told to do* bc we have freedom FROM the voting nonsense that is USA.
