I just read this as the poster hallucinating that the Pentagon is the right-wing version of USAID, and saying "nooo, don't cut off our patronage. Cut off THEIR patronage!"

In the worst case that DOGE dodges the Pentagon for four years, you can use the same formula to kill it later. USAID is not a "rounding error" when it comes to paying enemies to agitate for the dysfunction that let the Pentagon constantly 'lose' money with nobody caring.
