Shallow Christianity is a bigger problem than we think.
People have been told that reading their Bible and praying can cure all mental health issues.
People have been promised prosperity in return for prayer.
This isn't just a prosperity Gospel problem. It seems to be all over Western Christianity, especially evangelicalism.
We really need to learn more about suffering. .
