In the early 1970s, I wrote a track for lap steel guitar legend Freddy Roulette called "Mr. Roulette". It was recorded around 1973. It was a nod to Thelonious Monk. The most recent version was released in 2024, a collab with New Zealand saxophoinst Alex Nyman. It's a short and sweet modified blues. You can hear it free in our 6-track album "A&R" on the Internet Archive.
