Several accounts in our community were recently suspended or restricted on social platforms. No drama, no conspiracy — just a reminder: if your audience only lives inside a platform you don't control, you're building on rented land.
When a voice disappears from a feed, nobody gets a notification. The conversation simply goes on without it.
Bitcoin taught us "not your keys, not your coins." The same logic applies to communication: if your identity and your audience depend entirely on one company, they aren't fully yours.
That's why we're here. Nostr gives us an identity based on keys, not accounts — portable across clients, carried by many relays, owned by no one but us.
We'll keep using traditional platforms for reach. But our community now has more than one road home: our website, direct channels, open protocols like Nostr, and meetups in person.
