Consciously, I'm fully aware that a painful lump in my armpit when I'm sick with some dreadful virus (possibly COVID, possibly a head cold, it doesn't feel like COVID felt when I had it...) is far more likely to be an inflamed lymph node than anything malignant, I'm still mildly freaked out by it.
All I can do is monitor it and get it checked if it doesn't go away in a couple of weeks.
