Like you actually should try to align how you spend your money with certain values, this has been part of virtually every social movement since time immemorial and if nothing else it will help you feel more in integrity. I am traveling a lot for work right now and I actually feel really shitty about it and rather than try to gaslight myself about that shitty feeling by going “well capitalism left me no choice” I’m using it to figure out how to do work that requires less travel.
