isn’t Alpoge is a number theorist by training.
This might be a really stupid question but does anyone know if Alpoge actually understands the proof himself? If he doesnt understand the proof, then he hasn’t actually checked the proof himself. Maybe that’s why the paper hadn’t been posted on arxiv. The paper has so far never been vetted by any human.
If I’m wrong please let me know.
