When I look at these pictures, I don’t just see children standing around me. I see my family. I see my responsibility. I see my purpose. ❤️
Being a daddy to the children at Orphans of Uganda Children Center is more than giving them food, clothes, or a place to sleep. It means standing beside them when life has taken so much away from them. It means holding them when they need comfort, listening when they need someone to talk to, and reminding them that they are loved and that their lives have value.
Some of these children may have lost their biological parents, but they should never have to grow up feeling that they have no family.
I want to be the kind of daddy who helps them dream again. A daddy who teaches them that their past does not have to determine their future.
🌱 We want to educate them.
📚 We want to give them practical skills.
🌾 We want to teach them farming and self-reliance.
🏠 We want to build them a permanent home.
₿ We want them to understand new opportunities and participate in the future economy.
❤️ Above all, we want them to grow into responsible people who can contribute to their communities and to the world.
My greatest hope is not that these children will depend on people forever. My hope is that one day they will become the people who lift others.
That is the journey we are on.
I may not have everything these children need today, but I will continue standing with them and doing what I can as their daddy.
These smiles remind me why we must keep going. ❤️
