Arvo, Toots. Meetings and running around this morning, after helping a very teary, frustrated, angry bestie on the phone first thing.
Anxiety sucks. Knowledge is power. I think sometimes healthcare providers forget that just because they've been through a procedure a hundred times, the patient hasn't. and the more information you can give them, the better. So poor bestie was left to Dr Google. Obviously not what anybody should do.
Anyway, apologies were forthcoming from the surgeon's rooms, but healthcare right now is bad. (Arrrgh! Anyone still working in that field has my sympathies.)
And of course, my phone call with details for my own upcoming procedures happened in the middle of Artists Books this arvo, LoL!
