1. A water main on the street broke last night and, while that meant we didn't have water for pretty much the entire evening, we have enough stored water that it barely registered as an inconvenience
2. Additionally, the water main that broke was up the street far enough that our property didn't get flooded (then frozen) or dug up by the repair crew
3. Accidentally stumbled across & corrected an oversight with a 3D print design *before* I started printing it, which saved me a LOT of hassle and some amount of filament
