This move is part of the country's efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities, particularly in light of the ongoing war in Ukraine. The German Reservist Association is calling for the change, citing the fact that many people remain productive and fit well into their 60s and 70s. The Bundeswehr is also planning to grow to at least 260,000 active soldiers and 200,000 reservists by 2035." ] ], "content": "nostr:nprofile1qyd8wumn8ghj7ctjw35kxmr9wvhxcctev4erxtnwv4mhxqpq25q6jmqc3mwf7m5zmu3hhaswj3969s3fm2htqz6vzryh3m3v0cessvukge\nhttps://www.thegatewaypundit.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/ai-by-grok-old-german-soldier-in-war-1200x630.jpg\n70-year-old soldiers?
