IRL I can be a church member and then go to an LGBT club. it doesn't matter what they think of each other...unless one becomes a nuisance to the other.
on fedi, being a member of either's server can mean I can't access the other's server, even though neither's members have ever caused a problem. they just don't like the mean or untrue things they say about the other in their own space.
limiting beyond trolls is counterproductive.
X/meta is a loud shitty warehouse for everyone.
