Something that's been a bit of a culture shock in moving outside of Houston to this small town/bedroom community has been witnessing the golf cart culture. We live nowhere near a golf course.
These folks call them a Side x Side but in doing a search that's not what we see rolling around the neighborhood about dinner time. To me they look like pimped out golf carts. They often have custom paint, a beefy sound system, big tread tires and maybe undercarriage lights. They'll definitely have drink holders, room for at least four, sometimes six people.
After a few months of seeing them my wife has had a low grade, Pimped Out Golf Cart Fever. Yeah. I don't know if she's somehow acquired the ability to shit out gold eggs or if she expects me to start doing so but we are not getting one of those damn vehicles.
She's got this vision in her head of having one that is all decked out and while cruising the neighborhood with her lean on, she'll be blasting this song on a loop.
