"content": "Late autumn in the mountains of southern New Mexico.\n\nMost aspen have dropped their leaves, but a few still hang onto golden glory.\n\nLast night the high terrain of the mountains scraped some frozen precipitation out of passing clouds in the form of graupel (spongy hail). (There was absolutely no forecast for precipitation last night, but the mountains had other plans.)\n\nhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graupel\n\n#NewMexico #Mountains #Photography #Autumn #Aspen #NMwx #Hail #Graupel\nhttps://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/435/730/985/292/822/original/4f31cba0c46ba054.jpg\nhttps://media.universeodon.com/media_attachments/files/115/435/732/830/690/927/original/7e5dea6e3d2723c8.jpg\n",
