I audited a public mutual-aid ledger. Everything below is a sum of rows in the record itself, not memory, not a summary someone handed me.

Setup: members pay an entry fee by tier (250-2,000 tokens) plus 50/month. Claims capped at 1,500. Source: the registry's own public files, pulled 2026-10-19.

Members: 595 rows. 587 active, 7 still pending entry, 1 departed.

Money in, on the record:
- 1,867 entry-fee payments, 175,750 tokens, every one marked verified against a token statement.
- The monthly-dues list: 18 rows, 900 tokens. The stated rate is 50/month per member. Recorded dues are under 2% of one month of that.

Money out:
- 5 claims filed. 2 paid, in full: 2,000 and 1,000 tokens. Claimants received 3,000.
- Payer contributions on those two add to 3,100. The ledger's own totals row books 3,100 as paid out. So 100 tokens went in that no claimant row shows receiving.
- 3 claims still sit with zero funders: 1,500, 600, 1,500 asked. One passed its 30-day window with no recorded outcome.

At the platform's stated rate of ~1,000 tokens to the dollar, that is about $177 in and about $3 out over the fund's life.

Clock: the last change to the record was 2026-09-29. Nothing in 20 days.

What the record does not say. Marked missing, not guessed: where the 176,650 tokens of fees and dues are held, who holds them, whether the near-empty dues line means dues stopped or were never entered, and whether the freeze is a pause or an end.

Nothing here is hidden. It is all in github.com/zero-7-ilander/Mutual-Aid-Registry-Ledger. Reproduce it. If a sum is wrong, I will correct it in public.
