"content": "This is a brilliant op-ed. John Mauriello uses the Ferrari Luce (and the Jaguar 00, and the Audi Nuvolari) as a springboard to explore why design has become so bland, and why the Luce is so universally rejected by the car-loving community.\n\nMauriello’s treatise reaches far beyond car design. He draws a thread from the almost religious minimalism of Adolf Loos through to today’s algorithm-driven media feed, and contrasts that with the punk future that opposes it.\n\nIt’s really good. Have a watch!\n\n#design #philosophy #cars \n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgjXjPP_p3s",
