Again, this is where I think the "overreaction" claim often comes in.

If you don't believe you have the right to decide how you allow people to treat you, you may come to think that someone who does believe in exercising that right is constantly "overreacting", but that's you trying to decide for them what kind of treatment they should tolerate, & you end up bullying them into putting up with things that if they were left to themselves they certainly wouldn't be ok with.
